These are my priceless slippers.
They are one size too big.
I got them from a dear friend who got them from her Mom who bought them at Salvation Army. If I pull the leather shoe strings real tight they fit pretty well. They are Uggs, so they are a great brand with a durable sole. The slippers can be worn outside too. I love super functional footwear.
It may seem odd, but these slippers always remind me of my salvation. Someone else paid for a life-saving gift for me and I didn’t have to pay anything. I just had to receive it. Yet, sadly there are those who did not value this gift.
I believe I’m becoming a better listener. I suppose that brings relief to some.
I fear man more than I care to admit. The Lord is helping me in this area.
I believe life with all its struggles is still an adventure.
