These are my running shoes.
They are sitting on our picnic table in the backyard because they got soaked from being in our bathroom during the kids bath time. They are ASICS. Because I have always worn Asics shoes for running since I was in high school. They have always fit well and I don’t see a reason to mess with something that works. My last pair of running shoes lasted me over 5 years. This pair of shoes which I got in June of this year just hit 269 miles of the recommended 300ish mile life span of running shoes. That is because I have found a new love of running this year. Thanks mostly to a running community that keeps me motivated.
I’m already excited to be looking for my next pair of running shoes that will most likely be ASICS!
I’m a Christian. A husband. A dad. A business man. A friend.
I love my wife, my family, running. Traveling. Being on the water.
My fear is to let my life pass by without having done anything of significance.
ABOUT THE MY SHOES PROJECT
There’s so much that supposedly divides us as Americans.
The purpose of My Shoes is to highlight the many practical fundamentals (everyone wears shoes!) that we have in common.
